The Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth

The NPHY is my favorite charity. Homeless children in the ages of 18 and below find hope when they reach this wonderful place. They give them, food, water, shelter, help them stay in school, and even help them plan for their future. I love their generosity and how much they care.

Wish List

Kids at the NPHY make a wishlist for what the want more of. While shopping for school, you can use this to buy an extra pair of something (they need all sizes and types of new clothing), or an extra school supply and donate it.

Here is a list of always needed items:
-bottled water
-white cotton socks
-underwear (boxer-briefs for guys)
-small hand sanitizer
-band aids (travel size packages)

Last Day To Turn In Items: Aug 15

The last day to turn in donations is August 15. The day after that is when I turn everything in. =)

Thanks!!!

On Monday the 16th, I turned in all the items that I received. You all contributed 6628 items! I estimated that we turned in over $7000 worth of items. I'm so thankful for everyone who contributed to my eagle project. It made a difference. Not only does the NPHY have school supplies, but they also got hygiene products,
clothes, socks, food, and water which helped also.

I feel like I really made a difference. All this work for the past few weeks has really paid off and I'm proud that I got something over with for many good causes too. Eagle projects are one the best ways to help out the community.

I must admit though, I could not have done anything without help and support from my family. They gave me the encouragement to stand up before people, and to carry out this project. Yet, even though my family helped me out tremendously, I still couldn't have completed this project without the help of you who donated. Thanks to you, I shattered my goal of 1500 items. This project has benefited so many, and I am grateful for that. Thank you again!
