On Monday the 16th, I turned in all the items that I received. You all contributed 6628 items! I estimated that we turned in over $7000 worth of items. I'm so thankful for everyone who contributed to my eagle project. It made a difference. Not only does the NPHY have school supplies, but they also got hygiene products,
clothes, socks, food, and water which helped also.

I feel like I really made a difference. All this work for the past few weeks has really paid off and I'm proud that I got something over with for many good causes too. Eagle projects are one the best ways to help out the community.

I must admit though, I could not have done anything without help and support from my family. They gave me the encouragement to stand up before people, and to carry out this project. Yet, even though my family helped me out tremendously, I still couldn't have completed this project without the help of you who donated. Thanks to you, I shattered my goal of 1500 items. This project has benefited so many, and I am grateful for that. Thank you again!

I've recieved many donations with mostly school supplies in them. They are wonderfull! If you're looking to donate, here are some things that we haven't recieved as many of during the project:

-GIRLS socks and underwear

-new school clothes

-gift cards

This is the last week of the project, and it would be great to get more of those items. =) Thank you so much everyone for what you've done.

Thanks to everyone who came on Saturday to help out pass out fliers to the neighborhood! It meant alot that you guys would wake up early to come work for me. =)

For the past week I have gotten mostly items that relate to school supplies. I am very grateful for those who gave them! If you're looking to donate something different then here's a list that you could use of items that would also be helpful. =)

My Exprience

Earlier today, I dropped off the food and water that I got because it was filling up our house a little much. We walked up to the NPHY drop off center and told the secretary we had some things to drop off. Everyone was so excited and had a smile on their faces. I felt proud for what I did. These kids really need the help and are so happy when they get it.

Thanks to all who gave donations today! I also learned some tips about deals in some stores.

-At Walgreens, backpacks are buy one for $10 and get the rest half off! So backpacks are $5 each.

-Smith's has drinks 10 for $10!

-The Dollar Store has dictionaries for $1!
